Speak Up; for all children - the elderly and abused, for the under
privileged, for those who cannot speak up because of illness and despair.
Speak Up for the frightened and abandoned and for your values.

We live in a world where over-zealous politicians - can deny personal
freedoms, where science funding can be shaped by political or religious
considerations rather than health concerns, and where the voices of ordinary
people can be drowned out by spin doctors and mass marketing campaigns,

My purpose is to encourage all people to take the initiative and speak up
about what is important to them and address the challenging issues that face
our society. My hope is that you will now also teach others this poem and
inspire them to learn it, spread it around - give your own performance, use
it as part of your speech, in your workshops and give it life, give it your
breath, give it your passion and together we can change the world - one word
at a time, one person at a time - always speak up, thank you, love and
